Parents’ Workshop: Subject Selection and Career Planning with Graduates’ Sharing

Ho Fung Parent-Teacher Association held a“Subject Selection and Career Planning with Graduates’ Sharing] workshop on Saturday, May 11, 2024. There were 137 participants in attendance.
In the first part of the workshop, Mr. Lee Tsz-ching from the Career Guidance was invited to explain the relationship between subject selection in Secondary 4 and university admissions, as well as how to assist students in career planning.

In the second part, 2023 graduates Hung Kin-hang, Liang Ka-ki, and Wong Tsz-yeung shared their journeys from subject selection in secondary school to determining their university majors, as well as their memories of secondary school life.

Parents expressed that the workshop helped them understand the importance of communication, support, and respecting their children's wishes in helping them find their life direction. They also learned how to guide their children in early planning for their future direction.
