Exploration of Tai O, organised by Department of History

Our S5 History students participated in“Exploration of Tai O”on April 25 aiming to arouse their interests in cultural heritage and develop positive values. A range of activities were organised, such as making salted duck eggs, making cha kwo (steamed sticky rice dumplings) and visiting different sites to learn about local Tai O customs. These allowed the students to understand how to conserve cultural heritage under the fierce competition from globalization.
