The Hong Kong Air Cadet Corps

The Hong Kong Air Cadet Corps is a uniformed group, which aims to develop in its members an active interest in aviation. The group also seeks to develop and hone its members’ leadership skills.

The emblem of the Air Cadets is a three-bladed propeller representing the three things an air cadet should always be: always honest, always tolerant, and always in pursuit of justice.

The Ho Fung Air Cadet Corps No. 301 Squadron was established 8 years ago under the leadership of Louis Chan, the Flying Officer. Our squadron organizes various kinds of aviation training and activities for our members like Airmanship and Principle of Flight lessons so that cadets can gain some flying experience. Cadets are given the opportunity to fly in a helicopter, on a glider, and visit the Government Flying Service and Cathay Pacific city. Besides all this, we have organized the Night Journey, Recruit Cadets’ Training Camps and Foot-drill Training Camps to facilitate personal growth and the development of leadership skills. We also play an active role in Ho Fung. Our squadron performs a Continuity Drill Display on Parents Day and serves in Sports Day every year. Through all these programmes, air cadets become more confident, disciplined and responsible.

We would like to thank the school and teachers for all their support. No. 301 Squadron will continue to offer high quality training and service to the community and to the students of our great school.
