Our Secondary 1 students participated in an experiential learning activity designed to provide them with deeper insights into the catering industry in November 2025. The programme offered students a unique opportunity to connect classroom knowledge with real-world applications.
During the visits, students were introduced to various aspects of restaurant operations. They not only observed but also took part in pasta preparation, mixing drinks, and other activities. This gave them firsthand understanding of the precision and dedication required to uphold professional standards in the catering industry.
In addition to getting a taste of the profession, students received lessons in proper table manners and practised meal ordering. Communicating with the service team in English added an important dimension to the experience, enabling students to strengthen their language skills in an authentic setting while building up their confidence in interpersonal communication.
