Introduction of Augmented Reality (AR) technologies to educate the public the visual symptoms and progression of important vision-threatening diseases

Two S5 biology classes joined the meaningful programme to experience the visual symptoms of various important vision-threatening diseases on 5th December 2024 during lesson time. The programme was organized by the School of Clinical Medicine of the Department of Ophthalmology at the University of Hong Kong. Students were engaged and actively participated in the activities. Through the programme, students have a better understanding of the biological knowledge for the development of various important vision-threatening eye diseases as well as developing empathy towards the patients.
